About DRIVES

The aim of the project is to implement the Blueprint objectives for the automotive sector, namely the delivery of human capital solutions to supply chain through the establishment of an Automotive Sector Skills Alliance, covering all levels of the value chain (vehicle production, automotive suppliers and automotive sales and aftermarket services). Through our partners’ networks, DRIVES outcomes will be disseminated EU-wide to more than 300 associations, bringing together more than 270,450 companies of all sizes, representing over 7 million workers.

Defines key skills and job roles for the future automotive industry

Selects a subset of the job roles and establishes ready-to-use pilot certification and training services

Skills Transferability
Elaborates a new learning and certification scheme to be part of the learning strategy for the automotive industry

Apprenticeship Marketplace
Develops an apprenticeship scheme for innovative coaching strategies for new skills for the automotive industry
6
Wider Visibility and Exploitation
Disseminating and communicating the results to wider public, industry and policy makers

Our Results

Below are the main outcomes produced by the project, so far:
Automotive Skills Strategy and Roadmap
To build sustainable ecosystem for continuous cooperation on upskilling and reskilling of workforce in the automotive sector. We are currently looking for feedback from our stakeholders.
DRIVES Job roles
With the help of our stakeholders, we identified the job roles of the future, to face upcoming challenges and drivers of change in the automotive sector.
DRIVES learning platform
We have launched this platform to offer courses developed by the DRIVES partnership. We invite all interested stakeholders to register.
