Stakeholder Event - Preparing for the future European Emission Standards for Light and Heavy-Duty Vehicles

The European Commission is organising a stakeholder event on the future of emission standards for the automotive industry.
Event date: 24/10/2018
Location: Breydel Auditorium, 45 Avenue d'Auderghem, 1040 Brussels
Organiser: Directorate-General for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs

This all-day event will bring together scientific evidence from the JRC and academia, as well as gather the opinions of different stakeholders on the future of emission standards for passenger cars, light commercial vehicles and heavy-duty vehicles.

Topics to be discussed include:

  • Lessons learned from developing the latest emission standards and the way forward
  • Scientific evidence on emissions gathered by the JRC
  • Evidence on emissions collected by the scientific community
