European Skills Week 2020 – November, 9 – 13

The European Vocational Skills Week 2020 starts today. It is organised by the European Commission in partnership with the German Presidency of the Council of the EU.

This year’s edition aims to urge everyone to discover their talent and develop their skills in line with labour market needs through vocational education and training (VET), a critical sector for economic and social recovery.

DRIVES has been organising a series of webinars that are integrated in the European Skills Week. Four webinars have already been held and the fifth webinar of this series – which will be presenting an overview of the Job Roles for the Automotive Sector - is scheduled for December 2, 2020. Registrations for this webinar are open here.

In the spirit of the European Skills Week, we would also like to encourage the registration to the DRIVES learning platform for attending free online trainings, as the latter can help in the upskilling and reskilling of the workforce and in preparing for future digital transition.
