Webinar conclusions: Skills Alliance and the forthcoming e-mobility – Urging the ecosystem global competitiveness

Recently, the DRIVES and ALBATTS projects held a joint webinar, where 92 of our stakeholders had the opportunity to hear the latest news from several experts on topics related to the future of mobility.

Among them, we listened to experts of both projects, but also from representatives of the European Commission on the new Skills Agenda and the pact for Skills; as well as from the Portuguese Presidency on the priorities of the Presidency concerning the impact of the Sustainable and Smart Mobility Strategy.

The event ended with two complementary presentations. The first from Northvolt, on the importance of re-skilling for the EU battery cell production landscape; and a second presentation on the DRIVES Framework website, a EU-wide platform of training courses for the automotive industry, created by the DRIVES project,  that will act as a broker between industry competence needs and training offers, for the whole EU market.
